Assessing an applicant demands great effort from everybody involved in the selection process. Recruitment decisions that later turn out to be wrong cause high subsequent costs for their correction. So, the crucial question is: Which candidate meets the specific requirements of a position best?
By employing standardised aptitude tests which measure personal characteristics relevant for a certain position, personal total consultants can assist you in your hiring decisions. Of particular importance are best-practice profiles of successful job holders, which disclose characteristics crucial to success in that position.
To assess potentials of an applicant, we can assist our clients with two well-established instruments:
- Comparison of the applicant with existing standard profiles: personal total has developed more than 30 standard profiles for different occupational groups and functions that allow for objective comparisons with an applicant’s profile. These standard profiles have been elaborated in cooperation with Germany’s leading journal for engineers – the VDI Nachrichten, based on tests with more than 1,500 participants.
