Rapid changes of market environments require companies to adjust not only their internal structures and operations, but, more often than not, also to change their management to stay abreast of their customers’ demands.
In such a situation it is indispensable to possess tools for objective and prompt assessment of strengths and weaknesses, capabilities and personal characteristics of employees in functions crucial to the success of a company.
Aptitude tests allow us to find answers to questions like:
- Are competencies and personal characteristics of a team’s members adequate to achieve set targets?
- In which characteristics do profiles of team members differ from “best practice“ or standard profiles?
- Where is the need for further qualification measures?
- How can candidates most suitable for a vacant position be found on internal and external job markets?

To assess potentials of an employee, personal total has developed more than 30 standard profiles for different occupational groups and functions that allow for objective comparisons with an employee’s profile. These standard profiles have been elaborated in cooperation with Germany’s leading journal for engineers – the VDI Nachrichten, based on tests with more than 1,500 participants.
